| In May 2007, Charles joined with three
other singers and a viol consort to give the first performance of
a newly discovered collection of music dedicated to Anne Boleyn
as a wedding gift in a concert given at the museum of The Royal
College of Music in conjunction with the Centre for Performance
History. Based around the RCM MS1070, this included motets for voices
and viols, and some instrumental pieces attributed to Henry VIII
himself.
As part of Channel 4's groundbreaking
documentary "War Oratorio", Charles provided professional
support to a hand-picked choir, coached by renowned vocal coach
Mary King in collaboration with Voicelab at the London South Bank
Centre. Filmed in March 2007, this classical oratorio, composed
by Dominic Muldowney, combined insightful documentary with the emotive
power of music to illuminate the lives of real people caught up
in conflicts.
Also in March 2007, Charles acted as a musical extra in "The
Oxford Murders", a new film starring Elijah Wood.
